SHOWTIME SPORTS has released the opening tease from ALL ACCESS: DAVIS VS. ROMERO, premiering this Saturday, May 21 at 9:30 p.m. ET/ 6:30 p.m. PT on SHOWTIME in advance of the battle between five-time world champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis and unbeaten No. 1-ranked contender and mandatory challenger Rolando “Rolly” Romero set for Saturday, May 28 live on SHOWTIME PPV from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions. To watch and share the clip, go to https://youtu.be/uIzakeREewY.

The opening clip sets the stage for ALL ACCESS’ award-winning storytelling as both fighters, who have been on a months-long, grudge-fueled collision course filled with verbal sparring and social media taunting, reveal the old school motivation for why this fight is finally happening – to quite simply shut the other up. As the show’s narrator Barry Pepper says in the closing moments of the clip, “It’s as simple as fighting itself. When a champion doesn’t like what an opponent is saying, there’s only one option: shut that mother*cker up.”

ALL ACCESS: DAVIS VS. ROMERO will see both fighters at their most candid. Boxing’s hottest attraction, Davis, details his new-found focus and motivation following his decisive victory over Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz last December, while the normally brash and flashy Romero shows an introspective side as he details his upbringing in a dangerous Las Vegas, reflecting on what brought him to this moment.

Episode One premieres this Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. immediately preceding the David Benavidez vs. David Lemieux SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® telecast. ALL ACCESS: DAVIS VS. ROMERO EPILOGUE will premiere Saturday, June 4 following the conclusion of Stephen Fulton Jr. vs. Danny Roman SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING telecast.
