Arthur Abraham vs. Robert Stieglitz

This will not be anything like Izzy Vazquez/Rafa Marquez 4, Manny Pacquiao/ Juan Manuel Marquez 4, or any other highly follow up bout to a sensational trilogy.
What it will be, is a highly competitive fight by two guys who know each other well. Arthur Abraham should win this fight. He did enough to win two of the first three and even though Robert Stieglitz got the fourth-round TKO in the second bout, people make it out to be more dramatic than it actually was.
Stieglitz had the upper hand in the fight, but really it was Abraham’s eye that couldn’t continue. Abraham was still in the fight mentally, but the swelling around his eye had gotten so bad that the doctor forced the stoppage. I think though their pretty close in skill level, Abraham has the clear edge in experience and has the most wins in this fight saga.
Prediction: Abraham

It’s safe to say these fellas know each other as well as Jake and Elwood, Hall and Oates, and Sponge Bob and Patrick.
This will be their fourth date since 2012. Arthur Abraham took the first bout by decision in a very competitive fight. In the rematch, Stieglitz scored a KO win in the fourth. The third installment, in March of 2014, Abraham scored a knockdown in the 12th and won a theatrical split decision.
This thing can go either way.
The first bout was close and third could have gone either way. Sandwiched between them, Stieglitz scored a KO win. He’s knows he can stop Abraham, not vice-vera. I give the edge to Stieglitz.
Prediction: Stieglitz

This should be an excellent match with evenly matched opponents who are no stranger to each other.
Abraham is up 2-1 in the rivalry thus far with his loss came via fourth round TKO when his eye was swollen shut.
It’s not difficult to see Stieglitz win a close one but the image of King Arthur grotesquely fighting through the pain after Edison Miranda broke his jaw elicits a perhaps nostalgic image of a man willing to endure anything to keep his title.
Prediction: Abraham

If we’ve learned anything from the first three fights between Arthur Abraham and Robert Stieglitz, its that anything can happen. Abraham, 35, is only one year older than Stieglitz but to me it seems like he’s been “King Arthur” for 100 years. In other words, I’m wondering how much he has left?
While both men know each other, I think Abraham has the power to swing things his way in a competitive bout.
Prediction: Abraham
