Deontay Wilder vs. Artur Szpilka
Sarah Gruber, Staff Writer
I expect Artur Szpilka to come out aggressive pushing forward in early rounds and then to fade as the fight goes on. I see Deontay Wilder staying smart and keeping behind his long jab until Szpilka starts to fade out from his overly aggressive style.
As the fight wears on Wilder should use his still growing ring IQ to set Szpilka up for a knockout. I see the fight competitive in early rounds but Wilder should win with a huge KO in one of the later rounds.

I say Deontay Wilder by TKO in three to five rounds. I feel Wilder will use his height and reach advantage against the smaller Artur Szpilka.
He will establish a jab early on, and Szpilka will capitulate once the straight rights keep landing. It will be a straight right that will hurt Szpilka, followed by barrage of punches on the ropes. The referee will then intervene.

Deontay Wilder says 2016 is his year. He needs a highlight-reel KO to get people on board with that notion.
While Artur Szpilka did get stopped late by Bryant Jennings, that doesn’t mean he isn’t a threat to Wilder. He’s a southpaw–which can be tricky because Wilder hasn’t faced one in three years–he’s undefeated since his only professional loss and he’s a Polish bad ass who seems genuinely irked by Wilder’s “Bomb Zquad” antics.
Szpilka has a chance, but I think Wilder will start the year off with a bang and score a Botox-like face-freezing KO. Think Curtis Stevens when GGG put him on his ass.
