It has been called the biggest and most important bout between Philadelphia area fighters in the past 30 years.
This Wednesday, Heavyweight contenders, former two-time Cruiserweight world champion Steve “USS” Cunningham (26-6, 12 KO’s) and Amir Mansour (20-0, 15 KO’s) will meet the media for the final time before their much anticipated showdown that will take place this Friday night at the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University.
The bout has championship implications as it will be for Mansour’s USBA Heavyweight title. Cunningham and Mansour will hold a final news conference on Wednesday, April 2 at 1 pm at the Liacouras Center Fox and Gittis Room (next to the main lobby at the Broad St. entrance)

The event features a ten-round bout for the USBA Heavyweight Title between Steve “USS” Cunningham and USBA champion Amir “Hardcore” Mansour live on NBCSN Fight Night from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA. The Fight Night broadcast will begin at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT. The card is presented by Main Events and Peltz Boxing in association with BAM Boxing and Joe Hand Promotions. The undercard will include a ten round middleweight match-up between Curtis “Showtime” Stevens and Tureano Johnson. The remaining undercard fights will be announced shortly.
