Not only will Al Haymon‘s Premier Boxing Champions air on NBC but, starting April 4 in Quebec, Canada, the new television program will also air on CBS with a WBC Light Heavyweight title fight between Adonis Stevenson (25-1, 21 KOs) and former Super Middleweight champion Sakio Bika (36-2-3, 21 KOs) as the main event.

The card was announced as part of a new deal between Al Haymon, CBS and Showtime Sports (which is owned by CBS).

Stevenson is coming off a lackluster 2014 in which his level of opposition had been highly criticized. Signing to with Haymon and avoiding fights with Sergey Kovalev and Bernard Hopkins didn’t help either.

The native 37-year-old Haitian probably won’t be hearing any less of it soon, but the lineal champion will nonetheless get to fight on national television.

Bika, a 39-year-old Australian who lost his WBC Super Middleweight title in an ugly fight against Anthony Dirrell, will use his signature style of wide punches and awkward boxing to attempt to secure another world title.

In the co-main event, rising Light Heavyweight contender Artur Beterbiev will take on former champion Gabriel Campillo

The televised event will begin at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
