Earlier today, Keith Thurman shared a next-day photo on Instagram of the facial injuries he suffered in his hard-earned decision win against Robert Guerrero.
“Letting my fans know I’m all good! We did work last night for the world! Boxing is back,” said Thurman in the post.
Thurman began to suffer swelling above his left eye due to a head-butt in the early rounds with Guerrero.
Despite the swelling, he went on to dominate most of the following rounds, although he did demonstrate that he was at times trying to protect it with a high guard.
Thurman went to the hospital immediately after the fight and was unable to attend the post-fight presser to discuss his injuries.
