With the strong buzz felt on Instagram and Twitter, Chavez Jr. vs. Golovkin seems to be a huge crowd favorite and would certainly be devastating to many fight fans if the deal cannot be made.
According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Golovkin has already signed for the bout.
The issue holding back Chavez Jr. from signing for the fight is that he does not want to sign an extension with Top Rank.
This matchup has all the makings of a war with Golovkin ready to move up to 168 pounds to face Chavez Jr., but we will see what the Mexican star’s move will be.
One fight that is a done deal according Pugmire–again via Twitter–is an interesting Lightweight clash between Terence Crawford and Yuriorkis Gamboa.
Also told by @BobArum that the T. Crawford-@gamboa fight is set for June 28 in Omaha WBO lightweight title fight.

Gamboa and Mikey Garcia were seemingly headed toward a fight a few months back with endless banter and memes on Twitter and Instagram.

But, the fight fell apart and now Gamboa gets a crack at the new WBO champion.
Crawford confirmed to KETV.com that the fight will be held at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska where Crawford is from.
