Dusty Hernandez-Harrison (29-0, 16 KOs), the undefeated Washington, DC Welterweight prospect signed to Roc Nation Sports, flew out to California earlier this week to join Canelo Alvarez in camp.
Hernandez-Harrison sparred with the Mexican superstar on Thursday and discussed the experience with RBRBoxing.
“It was a good experience. He’s probably the best I’ve ever been in the ring with,” said Hernandez-Harrison.
Hernandez-Harrison also spoke with Elie Seckbach and described what stood out to him most during the sparring session.
“I think it surprised me that he’s so big and he can still do that. 154 or 160 pounds he’s huge”
Canelo, who is the the lineal and WBC Middleweight champion of the world, is preparing for his fight against Amir Khan on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hernandez-Harrison is also preparing for a May bout, although a location and opponent have not be named as of yet.
