Not everyone is impressed with Shannon Briggs’ Clubber Lang bit.
In fact, one ex-champion is making it known that he wants to shut Briggs up himself.
For those of you who have been living without internet this year, Briggs has made it his new passion to stalk and hound Heavyweight kingpin Wladimir Klitschko around the world until he agrees to fight him.
Unfortunately, Briggs hasn’t been fighting anyone ranked in the top 3000, instead relying on his internet promotional stunts to land him the fight.
Speaking with TMZ Sports, Toney was adamant about the fact that Briggs should stop what he’s doing. “Briggs is wasting his time trying to lock up a fight with Wlad–because Klitschko would beat his ass anyway,” said Toney.
Instead, Toney says Briggs should get in the ring with him. Now that’s a fight that would be worth watching. In fact, the promotional build up with be better than the fight.
Let’s see if Briggs responds to one of the all-time great trash talkers.
