Floyd Mayweather spoke with David Aldridge during Sunday nights NBA All-Star game and discussed the rumors that are swirling around–via Dan Rafael of ESPN–that Manny Pacquiao has indeed signed his portion of the contract to face Mayweather on May 2.
Much to the dismay of fight fans everywhere, Mayweather shot down the report and said that neither he nor Pacquiao have signed anything.
After weeks of back-and-forth and false reports, it is quite clear that no reporter has any idea what’s going on with the particulars of this mega-fight deal.
Unless Floyd Mayweather announces something, take it with a grain of salt.
