In the headline bout of Showtime Extreme’s undercard coverage of the title fight between Bermane Stiverne and Deontay Wilder, Vyacheslav Shabranskyy (11-0, 9 KOs) scored a ninth-round knockout over Garrett Wilson (13-8-1, 7 KOs) in a Cruiserweight fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Shrabanskyy, 27, of Zhytomyr, Ukraine, has an impressive amateur record and displayed his skill as he completely outclassed Wilson in every round.

At the end of Round 2, after jabbing Wilson and looking for openings, Shrabanskyy landed a right uppercut and right hook that send Wilson to the ground.

Wilson, 32, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, got up and the round immediately ended. He continued the fight and received a lot of punishment.

Wilson was dropped again in Round 8 by an overhand right, but got back up to his feet to continue fighting.

Wilson had been taking a lot of punishment as Round 9 ended, which is when referee Jay Nady called an end to the fight.

In the first televised fight, Eric Molina (22-2, 16 KOs) scored an eighth-round TKO victory over Raphael Zumbano Love (35-8-1, 28 KOs) in a Heavyweight fight.

Molina, 32, of Raymondville, Texas fought off his back foot for most of the fight, rolling punches with his shoulder before landing right uppercuts and hooks.

Zumbanom a 33-year-old native of Brazil, was agressive for the entire fight but was hit several times in the process.

Zumbano’s offense was reckless, ineffective, and ultimately caused him to finally get stopped by a strong flurry in the eigth and final round.
