Former two-division world champion and current lineal and Ring Magazine Middleweight Champion Canelo Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) and WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO Middleweight Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) will host an open to the public media workout at L.A. LIVE on Monday, August 28 ahead of the highly-anticipated showdown that will determine the king of the Middleweight division.
Canelo vs. Golovkin, the “Supremacy” battle for the Middleweight championship of the world, will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View® beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.
HBO Sports will air the special “Under The Lights: Canelo/Golovkin” Saturday, Sept. 2 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on HBO. It’s the final time the two will see each other until fight week unfolds in Las Vegas.
