WBC Amateur Championship Fights With Special Appearance By Brandon Rios

Former Lightweight champion, and current Welterweight contender Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios (34-4-1, 25 KOs) will be attending the WBC Amateur Championship fights in Cicero, Illinois tonight, September 21.

Former Lightweight champion, and current Welterweight contender Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios (34-4-1, 25 KOs) will be attending the WBC Amateur Championship fights in Cicero, Illinois tonight, September 21.

This free family boxing event is sponsored by the WBC and USA Boxing. The tournament’s location is at the Cicero Stadium, 1909 S. Laramie Ave, in Cicero, Illinois.

The venue has held countless Golden Glove tournaments, and continues to bring boxing to the Chicagoland area.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm CT, and includes free admission for all.

The fights include a handful of nationally ranked fighters, and possible future WBC World Champions.

The WBC Amateur Championship holds fighters from Indiana, Chicago, and Wisconsin.

Fighters will be representing the following gyms; Sam Colonna Boxing, CTH Team Guero, Harv Warz Bangerz, Portage Park Boxing, Project KO, 2nd Wind Boxing, CYBC, Golden Touch Boxing Club, Unanimous Boxing, Taylor Park Boxing, Hammond Boxing Club, Hyper Fight Club, IDIF Boxing, UCC Milwaukee, Tri-City Boxing, Mango Boxing Club, Charlie Company, Beast Boxing, MIBC Green Bay, and Tallon Boxing Academy.

The Chicagoland area doesn’t host many boxing events, take advantage of the opportunity and come support the local talent.
