The bout started with Klitschko working behind his trademark jab and Leapai having no answer in the form of defense or offense.
Leapai’s head movement was little to none as Klitschko began teeing off earlier than usual with his sledgehammer right cross behind the stiff jab.
Overall, it was an impressive showing by Klitschko but in the same breath it was extremely disappointing to see another Heavyweight pretender “stick to the script” as ESPN analyst Teddy Atlas said after the fight.
The question now is the same one we’ve had for the last 10 years, who can give Wladimir Klitschko a challenge?
