That’s not even a click bait title.
That’s exactly what Jalen Rose stated on Jalen & Jacoby earlier this week when asked about Canelo Alvarez and his future in the sport of boxing.
As you may already know, Canelo recently knocked out Sergey Kovalev at 175 pounds (the Light Heavyweight division), so to fight Vasiliy Lomachenko he’d have to go down 400 weight classes (just kidding, it’s more like six divisions) and to face Terence Crawford he’d have to go down four weight divisions.
To have to write that out and explain it is hilarious.
Jalen, there are weight classes for a reason, and although you might want to see someone catch a body, that’s NOT how boxing works.
Go play Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter.
