Yunier Dorticós: “Estoy Entrenando Duro Para Ganarlo Todo”
El campeón de peso crucero de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo (AMB), Yunier “Dr. del KO” Dorticós (22-0, 21 nocauts) ha estado entrenando muy duro para su unificación con el campeón mundial de peso crucero de la Federación Internacional de Boxeo (FIB), Murat Gassiev (25-0, 18 KOs). Su pelea es una pelea de semifinales en la edición de peso crucero de la Serie Súper Mundial de Boxeo que está programada para llevarse a cabo en el Castillo de hielo Bolshoy en Sochi, Rusia, el 3 de febrero de 2018.
Univision Deportes tuvo acceso exclusivo al campo de entrenamiento de Dorticos en Miami, Florida. Dorticos y el equipo tienen un buen campo de entrenamiento, cada minuto de las doce rondas que entrena es con agresividad y explosividad.
“Estoy preparando mi cuerpo y mi alma para la pelea más importante de mi carrera. Porque lo único que voy a aceptar es la victoria. Mi familia ha depositado su confianza y cree en mí y voy a pagar con un vencedor,” dijo Dorticós.
En la otra pelea de semifinales, el campeón Oleksandr Usyk chocará con el Mairis Briedis y luego los ganadores de las dos peleas de semifinales chocarán con cuatro títulos mundiales.
“He trabajado duro para poder ser parte de este torneo, he trabajado duro para poder demostrar que soy el mejor peso crucero del mundo. Creo que soy el mejor del mundo, y estoy ansioso por volver a pelear y mostrar a los fanáticos de todo el mundo una vez más de qué se trata el “Dr. del KO.”
La final del crucero de la Serie Súper Series Mundial de Boxeo se llevará a cabo en Jeddah, Arabia Saudita en mayo de 2018. El ganador del torneo recibirá el trofeo Muhammad Ali que incluye dinero del gran premio.

WBA cruiserweight Champion Yunier Dorticós (22-0, 21 KOs) has been training very hard for his scheduled unification with IBF world cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev (25-0, 18 KOs). Their fight is a semi-final bout in the cruiserweight edition of the World Boxing Super Series which is scheduled to take place at the Bolshoy Ice Dome in Sochi, Russia on February 3, 2018.
Univision Deportes had exclusive access to Dorticos training camp in Miami, Florida. Dorticos and team are not taking this fight lightly, every minute of all twelve rounds he trains is with aggressiveness and explosiveness.
“I am preparing my body and soul for the most important fight in my career. Because the only thing I’m going to accept is the victory. My family have deposited their trust and believe in me and I am going to pay back with a victor.” Said Dorticós.
In the other semi-final bout, WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk will collide with WBC champion Mairis Briedis and then the winners of the two semi-final bouts will clash with four world titles at stake.
“I have worked hard to be able to be a part of this tournament, I have worked hard to be able to prove that I am the best cruiserweight in the world. I believe I am the best in the world, and I can’t wait to fight again and show the fans all over the world once again what ‘The KO Doctor’ is about.”
The cruiserweight final of the World Boxing Super Series will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in May 2018. The winner of the tournament will receive the Muhammad Ali trophy which includes big prize money.
