It wasn’t the ending many would have predicted, but on Saturday night, September 9, 2017 at StubHub Center in Carson, CA, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai put an emphatic ending to his rivalry with Roman Gonzalez.
After closely edging the former pound-for-pound king earlier this year, Sor Rungvisai entered the ring Saturday with a different swagger and style.
He felt he was the champion and fought like he knew he couldn’t lose.
The knockout loss puts Gonzalez’s future in question as he has now lost two fights in a row.
