Saturday, August 9, 2014, Danny Garcia takes on the unheralded Rod Salka in a 10-round welterweight bout live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
The card–which is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Corona and AT&T–also features a championship caliber co-main event with IBF Junior Welterweight World Champion Lamont Peterson defending his title against Edgar Santana in a 12-round championship bout.
Opening the telecast will be Brooklyn’s own Daniel Jacobs as he takes on Jarrod Fletcher for the vacant WBA Middleweight World Title.
The triple-header will air live on SHOWTIME beginning at 9:00 pm, EST/PST.
